Yesterday, we read that Jesus cleared out the temple and healed the lame and the blind. The story continues in Matthew 21:23-25:46, where Jesus began to teach many parables. One of them was about what will happen when the Son of Man (the Messiah – Jesus) comes with all His angels and gathers up all people from every nation. Then, the Son of Man (the King) will separate all people as a shepherd separates sheep from goats – the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. The King will reward the sheep with eternal life, saying, “I was hungry and you fed Me, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I was a stranger and you invited Me in.”
