While Jesus was being crucified, many women were watching from a distance, including Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, who “had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs” (Matthew 27:55). Today we will continue the story in Matthew 27:55-66 and Luke 23:55-56, when three of Jesus’ followers continued to show their love for Him after the others had left.
