Daily prayer for The Week

Dear Jesus,

We want our house to be a house of prayer. Help us as a family to put you first and not to think only about money or things. Help us to pray for people in need and to help them, just like Jesus did. Thank you for teaching children and babies to praise you. We praise your wonderful name!

Dear Jesus,

We want to praise you and sing for joy! Thank you for coming to this world because you love us so much. Thank you that we can trust your perfect plan even if it is not what we expected. Help us to trust you all the time because your plans are the best.

Amen

Dear God,

As a family, we want to love you with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. We also want to love our neighbour as we love ourselves. Please forgive us for the times when we are selfish and hurt other people. Help us to show your love to people around us, especially to the people in need.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

It must have been so hard to know that you would die, but still you chose to obey your Father. As a family we choose to obey and follow you, even when it means choosing the difficult way. We ask for your help and strength each day.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

It must have been so hard that one of your disciples betrayed you and that all your disciples ran away and some even denied knowing you. Help us Jesus to be never ashamed of you to our friends and family. To share with them that you died for us. Help us in moments when friends leave us as your promised that you will never leave us.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for taking our punishment. Not only did you take all my punishment, but the punishment of all the people in the world. Thank you for this great love and your willingness to do this so that we can have peace and healing. Help us to love and forgive others in the same way you love and forgive us.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

Just like these women showed their love for you by caring for your needs, we want to show our love for you by caring for needs of others. Please show us who we can help today in a very practical way.

Amen.

Dear Jesus,

We are so grateful that we can celebrate resurrection Sunday. We celebrate that you are no longer dead, but alive. We know that you are always with us. Help us to share this Good News with everyone around us and to teach them what it means to follow you. We pray for people near and far who have never heard this Good News yet. That they will also hear about you, until everyone has heard that JESUS IS ALIVE!
